Arc Welding
Arc welding this week! Its means to join two components using an electrode (usually seen in construction site). Had to wear long sleeves and pants, covered shoes too. -.- Not only that we also had to protect ourselves by wearing hand gloves, apron, arm, leg shield, and also to hold face shield. =WARM! i'm like trembling while doing it, cos its a little heavy for me (due to old injuries) and i'm really scared i may get burn. The equipment is really dangerous...imagine with electrical current of 100-120 amperes? Fire, smoke, sparks were given out when joining the components... After the components have cool for a while, i still had to hammer it real hard to hit the slag off from the surface. its tiring for my arm. Guess what? While hammering it, the slag just fly towards my neck area and my nose bridge and i screamed (not at the top of my voice). Its hot and painful. Somemore i still wear safety googles... now my nose bridge has a little abrasion. ): I think i'm going to fail this...
