HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY TO ME!
All along, I used to think that every birthday of mine is just going to be like normal other birthdays. With the max of cutting cakes with family members at a restaurant/at the comfort of home, just friends singing happy birthday song to me or receiving small little gifts as usual. Or sometimes, i don't even celebrate it, due to Chinese New Year. Therefore i always don't really look forward or expect anything to happen on my birthday. But this year's 18th birthday is a big surprise to me! Birthday celebration is still a must with family. So, my dad actually booked a hotel stay at HYATT (Orchard) over the weekends as my mum won a stay over there during a lucky draw, to celerbrate me and mummy's birthday (though initial plan was to celebrate daddy's bday but it was fully booked ): )! SHOP, SHOP, SHOP! Then on my actual birthday, one of my clique from my class actually bake cupcakes early in the morning (that's what i heard(;) as a replacement of my birthday cake. You will never expect...It's a guy who bake the cupcakes for me. How sweet he can be? First time having someone baking cupcakes for my birthday. Though it may not be the most beautiful cupcakes, but it's really the thoughts that counts. Really touched by them that i teared a little. HAHAHA. Ohya, the cupcakes was totally awesome! Yum yum! The taste still lingers on my mind. XP Received a ferdora from my classmates! Love it so much! After school, i had another celebration in a Italian restaurant at Liang Court! However, this celebration is with a group of guys. Suppose to have my other girlfriends celebrating with me but they were all working ); Still, the guys had made the celebration and enjoyable one! And the rest who wished me via smses, phonecalls & fb! Thank you so much! i love my 18th birthday!(;
